Abstract works require a few basic elements of point, line, color and rhythm. The work pursues creativity, imagination, originality and self-expression. So how can we get a better abstract effect?
(1) Move your camera
When you first learn to take pictures, "shooting a clear photo" is an important skill, but sometimes you can slow down the shutter and move the camera purposefully so that you can take more artistic photos! But you need to pay attention when shooting:
If the shutter is too slow, it will cause overexposure. If you need to adjust the aperture and reduce the ISO movement, it is best to move it by “trajectory” (for example, vertical or circle). Otherwise, the photo has the opportunity to become too messy in the same scene. Try it faster or Slower shutters can shoot different effects!
(2) Shooting moving objects
Just like the first point, it is also to shoot artistic photos through "moving", but this time instead of moving your own camera, shooting "moving objects", such as walking cars, playing puppies Wait, the camera's shutter can be adjusted according to the speed at which the object moves. If the moving object is very fast, the camera's shutter should not be too slow, otherwise the whole photo will be blurred (unless you are deliberately doing this). If the camera (you) moves in the direction of the object when the shutter is pressed, the background will become blurred and the subject will be clear. This is the skill of "Panning"!
(3) Taking a clean picture
It's also a good idea to take an artistic photo, remove unwanted things from the photo, and take a very clean picture! One of the most useful techniques is to use a telephoto lens to capture small parts of a large environment, such as a small spray in the entire beach, or a small range of other common objects, and the same effect can be achieved. It’s better if the picture is simple, single-tone, or with interesting textures!
(4) Shooting through other objects
"Through other objects to shoot" is also a common technique. The object can be a plastic bottle, glass, or even between leaves, grass, liquid, etc.! Let your creativity play casually!
(5) Make good use of multiple exposures
Nowadays, many digital cameras also have the function of "Multiple Exposure". As long as you turn on the relevant options, you can take two or more objects in succession and let different images be exposed on the same photo at the same time. Will become more abstract and artistic! However, it is important to note that when shooting, you should pay attention to keeping the black/lighter place to expose the next photo!
